Kathy Griffin Found A Way To Taunt Elon Musk Despite Being Suspended On Twitter

Seems like Kathy Griffin is the only one prepared for Elon Musk’s Twitter taker-over. This is because other stars have come and gone from the social network platform after being suspended. Some even deactivated their account just because Musk is the new owner, but not Kathy Griffin.

Kathy Griffin’s Twitter account was recently suspended by Elon Musk and guess what? Instead of sulking about it, Kathy found a way to taunt Musk about it.

Kathy Griffin — Why Kathy’s Account Was Suspended

When Musk assumed office, he made new Twitter rules which are; That contents being put out on the platform by its users will now be moderated by his content moderation council, that users will get to pay for direct messages, and also, if your Twitter account is verified, verified users will have to pay a token of $20 monthly. The verification fee was later slashed to $8 monthly.

Also, Musk announced that users would also have to pay to view certain video contents on the app. Now, of all the new changes made by the world’s richest man Elon Musk, users of the platform were more pained by the monthly due allocated to verified users.

To show their disagreement with the changes, some users changed their Twitter profiles to appear like that of Musk’s, only that it’s fake. With their fake Musk profile, they made posts concerning the upcoming Twitter changes, thereby making it seem like Musk was taunting himself.

Musk found out about their impersonating profiles and announced on Sunday, Nov. 6, “Going forward, any Twitter handles engaging in impersonation without clearly specifying ‘parody’ will be permanently suspended.”

After Musk’s announcement, users calmed down a bit especially after finding out that some of them can no longer access their accounts. Kathy Griffin’s account was among the suspended accounts.

I know I said that users changed their profiles to look like Musk’s own just so they can taunt Musk. Well, that’s not exactly what Kathy did. You see, Kathy is a comedian and, last I checked, Musk once tweeted that, “Comedy is now legal on Twitter.” Apparently, Musk’s definition of comedy is anything but making fun of him.

It’s true that Kathy was among the users that changed their profile to look like Musk’s but, all Kathy tweeted was about how Musk fancied women who are sexy. She concluded her post with a hashtag “#VoteBlueToProtectWomen.”

I guess what Musk thought of after seeing Kathy’s post was, “I can be a comedian too, let’s see how funny you are after I suspend your account.” When fans realized that Musk suspended Kathy’s account, Musk in a bid to sound funny said, “[Griffin] was suspended for impersonating a comedian.”

Musk even went on to tell Kathy that if she wants her account back she has to pay $8 for it. Well, not Kathy because she can always find a way to get back at you.

Using her deceased mom’s Twitter account, Kathy taunted Musk the more by saying, “Elon, this is Maggie contacting you from the spirit world tell u … you’re a douchebag. This is not parody. This is the actual ghost of Kathy Griffin’s boxed wine-loving mother saying I’m gonna get tipsy & throw my bingo cards at you! NOT A PARODY.”

“To the moon, a******” she tweeted. Maggie G also retweeted anti-Musk messages. “Watching Musk meltdown feels like watching Kanye West meltdown feels like watching Trump meltdown. We are trapped in a Möbius strip of narcissistic autocrat.”
