Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom Are The Latest Celebs To Move To Montecito, California

Celeb news spoilers reveal that Katy Perry and her fiancé Orlando Bloom will be rubbing elbows with Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, and Prince Harry in the exclusive enclave of Montecito, California.

Just like their neighbors across the canyon, the celeb couple bought a house for around $14 million. But unlike Meghan, Katy was born in Santa Barbara so she’s coming back home with her SO and their daughter Daisy Dove.

According to Variety, the luxe real estate comes complete with an ocean view and several buildings atop nearly 9 acres of land. It boasts a winding oak-lined drive leading up to a brick terrace and the huge master suite has double bathrooms, a dressing room, and an enormous closet.

Other homeowners in the area include Ariana Grande, Ellen DeGeneres, and Oprah Winfrey. While the estate is pricey, it saw a major price drop before the A-list couple snapped it up nearly $2million under the asking price.

You can only live in one place at a time, and the couple has two other homes they are selling. Katy’s Beverly Hills house is for sale for $8 million, and Orlando has listed an $8.9 million house nearby. Katy was previously married to comedian Russell Brand.

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom’s New House Has Multiple Bedrooms and A Stunning View Of The Ocean

In August the busy couple welcomed their first child together, daughter Daisy, and they announced her birth through UNICEF.

“We are floating with love and wonder from the safe and healthy arrival of our daughter,” they announced.

The couple’s new home is just across the way from Meghan and Harry’s home which sits on 5 acres of property. Katy’s brand new residence has its own stone-pillared security gates and the residence boasts a tiled pool with a charming fountain. Although they don’t need to, they could rent out the swanky pool house as it has two bedrooms and two baths.

The A-list couple bought the home from former Duracell and Chrysler CEO C. Robert Kidder. In contrast, the Markle’s bought a house with a sordid reputation that earned it the nickname Scarface house and boasts its own stripper pole. It was recently reported that the house’s rooms were rented out prior to Meghan and Harry buying it although it comes with a guest house in which they reportedly plan to put her mother Doria Ragland.
