Kelly Ripa Refuses To Listen To Her Haters Over On-Screen PDA With Mark Consuelous

Kelly Ripa believes that she is doing just fine, thank you very much. There’s a new report that says the daytime television talk show host is not listening to any of her haters and is tuning out all of the negative talk about her new Live! show with her husband, Mark Consuelous.

Apparently, there are a lot of people out there who believe that they should do more talking, less interrupting and apparently show less public displays of affection, too. Here’s what you need to know.

According to Page Six, Kelly and Mark just feel as though their trolls and their complaints are irritating and that they don’t plan on changing the format of their show anytime soon.

One source close to the situation even put it this way, “Kelly’s been through this before — with every new co-host! If it wasn’t Mark — say it was [Ripa pal] Andy Cohen — it would be the same exact story.

Joel McHale [a fill-in co-host] once had to carry Kelly upside down for an obstacle race and her head was at his rear end and her arms were wrapped around his waist — can you imagine the faux outrage if Mark had to do that?”

The tipster added, “Kelly and Mark are certainly not going to change the recipe for success. Kelly has been discussing her marriage and home life on air for 23 years, and Mark is also fully immersed in this art form — and it is really kind of an art form.”

What’s Next For Kelly And Mark?

It was previously reported that viewers of the show were turned off by all of Kelly and Mark’s “fake banter” with some even suggesting that the show worked and flowed a little better when Ryan Seacrest was still on.

Critics also believe that there seems to be very little chemistry between Mark and Kelly in front of the cameras even though they have been married from well over two decades now.
