Kelly Ripa recently revealed that her kids do not see feeds relating to her and their father Mark Consuelos on social media. In fact, Michael, Joaquin and Lola did not see the news that buzzed on the internet a few weeks ago of their father joining their mother Kelly to host a live show. Talk about wow.

When you’ve got ultra-hot parents like Kelly and Mark, you might want to stay off their topic as well. In a recent chat with E! News, the host of “Live With Kelly and Ryan” revealed that her kids aren’t the biggest fans of her content.

“When you have a news feed and it says ‘Suggest more or suggest this, like this or block this channel,’ I’m certain they have blocked any channel with any mention of our names,” she said, adding, “Just like they block us on social media. They block us any way they can.”

Kelly shares three children Michael, 25, Joaquin, 20, and Lola, 21, with husband Mark Consuelos.

Continuing on, Kelly, who just wrapped filming the series finale of “Live With Kelly and Ryan,” described her children’s need to zone out on her content as a “self-preservation” tactic.

“They’re in a whole ‘nother subculture,” she said, adding that the trio did not even realize that Consuelos would be replacing Ryan Seacrest as co-host on her daytime talk show. “They’re like, ‘What do you mean? What are you guys doing?’ They have no idea.”

Mark Consuelos – On Their Children’s Reaction To Their Fame

Since Ripa joined Regis Philbin on the show in 2001, replacing Kathie Lee Gifford, she has had three co-hosts. Husband Mark Consuelos will be the fourth.

Through the years, Ripa and “Riverdale” actor Consuelos, 52, have been candid about their children’s reaction to their fame.

“Each kid, through different periods of time in their lives, go through a stage like, ‘Don’t talk about us or I’d rather not be a subject,’” Consuelos told the outlet. “We respect that.”

Ripa then added, “They don’t really pay attention to what we’re doing. They’re just happy that mom and dad are finding ways to pass the time since they’ve left the house.”
