Kevin Costner’s Wife Requests For Expenses Spent On Extra-marital Affairs To Be Provided In Court

Slowly, but assuredly, the Kevin Costner and Christine divorce is rounding up. It might have looked like it was going to be a messy one when Christine refused to move out of Costner’s multi-million dollar property, and Costner had to apply for a court order to get her to vacate the premises.

According to Costner, Christine was contesting the prenup and was seeking for more payout than the prenup would allow her to get.

However, Christine later packed her stuff and moved out, leaving the divorce to keep proceeding as amicably as possible.

Ahead of an upcoming hearing on child support and the November trial to determine the validity of their premarital agreement, Christine’s attorneys are requesting for more documentation that supports the “Yellowstone” star’s finances.

In the obtained documents, Kevin’s lawyers responded to asks from his estranged wife’s side, including one regarding any “expenses paid by you, or any person at your request or on your behalf, relating to any extramarital romantic relationships.”

However, Kevin’s legal team objected to the request, saying that it is “propounded only for purposes of harassment, is overbroad as to time period and subject matter, burdensome, oppressive and impermissibly compound.”

They further argued that the request is seeking information “not relevant to the subject matter” since “there is no community property” between them in this split.

Additionally, they argued, that Kevin “does not know for a fact if [Christine] engaged in any ‘extramarital romantic relationships’ before separation and, if so, whether she spent any of his money or charged any expenses in furtherance of her affair(s) on credit cards he paid.”

His legal side added, “[Kevin] has no responsive documents for ‘extramarital romantic relationships’ in which he engaged because he engaged in none.”

Kevin’s team formerly claimed that Christine had been planning her exit from the marriage months before she told Kevin about it in April.

“Months before separation, although the parties had always leased their automobiles, without [Kevin’s] knowledge or consent, [Christine] bought an expensive vehicle for her personal use (probably because the [prenuptial agreement] allows her to take that vehicle with her),” his lawyers wrote at the time.
