But this time, Thompson himself has issued a confession and apology rather than letting unconfirmed rumors swirl. In the wake of the Daily Mail‘s court documents alleging that Thompson and personal trainer Maralee Nichols were having a baby together, Tristan sought paternity tests. Thompson seemed to try to cast doubt upon Maralee’s claims.

The baby, reportedly conceived in March 2021 when Khloe and Tristan were a couple, arrived on December 1. But prior to the little boy’s arrival, Maralee’s attorneys allege Thompson urged her to undergo an abortion. Tristan also allegedly tried to give her $75,000 to end her paternity claim.

Now, however, Thompson has turned to Instagram to confirm that he has become a father again. Confessing that he fathered Nichols’ son, Tristan also apologized to Khloe Kardashian. “You don’t deserve the heartache and humiliation,” admitted the 30-year-old NBA player.

For Khloe, Thompson’s most recent confession comes after repeatedly trying to forgive and forget. “Today paternity test results reveal that I fathered a child with Maralee Nichols,” confessed Thompson. “I take full responsibility for my actions. Now that paternity has been established, I look forward to amicably raising our son. I sincerely apologize to everyone I’ve hurt or disappointed throughout this ordeal both publicly and privately.”

“Khloe, you don’t deserve this. You don’t deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you. You don’t deserve the way I have treated you over the years,” confessed Thompson. “My actions have certainly not lined up with the way I view you. I have the utmost respect and love for you. Regardless of what you may think. Again, I am so incredibly sorry.”
