Keeping Up With The Kardashians (KUWTK) fans feel that Khloe Kardashian seems guilty of cultural appropriation, noted the Sun. The slams resulted from a throwback clip that went viral. And viewers feel that Khloe seemed “offensive” for one reason: Her hairstyle.
In the video, which appeared on a fan page recently, Khloe and her sister Kylie Jenner enjoy dinner together. And Kylie wore her hair loose and long. However, Kardashian put her hair in dreadlocks. As a result, fans felt that the KUWTK star inappropriately and offensively styled her hair.
For instant, one fan wrote, “Ugh! Khloe is always with the cultural appropriation. Check the hair. So tone-deaf!” And another one added a vomiting emoji, writing “Ugh! Soo true!” However, several questioned why Kardashian even thought that would appear appropriate. And one summed up, “She really is the cultural appropriation queen.”
Khloe Kardashian – Bashed Previously Over Bantu Knot Hairstyle
A Bantu Knot hairstyle previously resulted in a backlash for Khloe. Originally taken in 2016, the picture resurfaced and earned slams for Kardashian. After celebrity stylist Justine Marjan created the style, Khloe posted the photo and called herself “Bantu Babe.” And she then shared another photo and added, “I like this one better.”

However, angry followers didn’t like any of them. For example, one KUWTK fan slammed Khloe as a “cultural appropriator. This is Bantu knots which is a traditional African hairstyle. It was really popular amongst AFRICAN AMERICAN WOMEN at the time as a low maintenance style for natural hair. Of course, this cultural appropriator thought it was okay to put in her hair. Ugh,” wrote the follower.
In addition, Kardashian has faced slams over an unusually dark tan. Khloe revealed her new skin color to hype a Hulu event for the family’s KUWTK spin-off, The Kardashians. And Khloe wrote, “Hulu anyone?” However, some fans felt that she went too far in darkening her skin. For instance, one wrote, “How dark do you want your tan?” And another added, “She looks very pretty, but that tan is vicious.”

So why can Black people wear their hair in not the natural way they were born with it everyday?! They get it relaxed so that isn’t curly and weaves so that it’s fuller and longer, to look opposite of what they were born with. So why aren’t they getting attacked for cultural appropriation?!
They have had to change their hair because society told them their natural hair was dirty, nasty, ugly, inappropriate, unprofessional, distracting, etc. Society MADE POC change their hair to appear more white. Which is why white people using POC hair styles for "fashion" is so egregious. POC are nasty when they have natural hair or POC hair styes. But white women are beautiful and "woke" and brave for wearing the exact same thing. You cannot force someone to change and then get mad at them for changing.
Doesn't everyone think OJ is hrr real dad? Soooo that would make her half African American correct? Or does that fact just slip people's minds when it comes to this kind of thing?
This Cultural appropriation whining is ridiculous and promotes segregation. Any human should be free to do their hair any way they want. And dreadlocks originated in Egypt, and then later the Vikings had them. So enough of this bullshit.
They wear their hair like white people’s to be accepted by white people, especially for employment and to survive. White people created the beauty standards and most people fell pressured to conform.
