Khloe Kardashian Not Interested In Lamar Odom’s Upcoming Documentary

Khloe Kardashian’s ex-husband Lamar Odom will be releasing his TMZ documentary titled; “Lamar Odom: Sex, Drugs & Kardashians on January 2, 2023.

In the documentary trailer, The two-time NBA Champion Lamar Odom, 43, shared what went down in his marriage with the Good American founder Khloe, 38. Lamar also spoke about how his continuous substance abuse cost him his marriage to the reality TV star.

In the trailer of the documentary, L.O. told Harvey Levin, “Drugs, that was my girlfriend. I had a wife and cocaine.” Lamar went on to share how poorly he treated his ex-wife during the period he was addicted to sex and drugs—mainly cocaine.

Khloe Kardashian — Khloe Doesn’t Want Any Part Of It.

Since Lamar shared the promo image of his upcoming documentary on his Instagram account, and after the release of the trailer, Khloe has not openly made a comment about it.

However, a source close to the mom of two shared exclusively with HollywoodLife that Khloe wants nothing to do with Lamar’s documentary.

It’s not like Khloe is mad at Lamar for not consulting her before doing a documentary about their failed marriage, no (from the disapproval it can be deduced that Lamar didn’t seek Khloe’s permission). That’s not the case. Khloe isn’t against Lamar making a documentary, she just doesn’t want to be dragged into it.

The source said, “Khloe wants nothing to do with this and wishes neither herself nor her family’s name was being dragged into this. She has no animosity towards him but wishes he would just leave it in the past.”

Clearly, what Khloe truly wants is for Lamar to not bring back the past because what happened in their marriage wasn’t something she would want to relive.

The source continued, “Khloe doesn’t feel any need to rehash things and would like for him to stop bringing it up. He’s free to share his story but would appreciate him leaving her name out of it.”

If Lamar had left the title at, “Sex, Drugs & Khloe” maybe, just maybe, Khloe might not be this disapproving but nope, Lamar had to include the entire Kardashian family in his business.

A different source told HollywoodLife, “She does not understand his motivation in doing this and does not understand why he included their family name in the title of this project. It is just not necessary.”

The source went on to say, “Khloe is disappointed that Lamar did this because she feels that there was simply no need to rip open old wounds. Khloe and Lamar both have been open about the reasons that their marriage ended and his issues surrounding drugs played out on ‘KUWTK.’ This is a long time ago now and Khloe is a mother.”

Khloe Kardashian — Snippets Of What Lamar’s Documentary Holds

In the documentary, Lamar told Harvey that while he was an addict, he dealt with it alone but he eventually couldn’t hide his addiction to drugs anymore so he had to tell Khloe about it. “For part of my marriage, I had to tell her. You can’t hide that forever.”

The trailer also features a remorseful Lamar visibly ashamed of his past, especially how poorly he treated Khloe even though she stood by him through his near-death experience after he O-ded.

When Harvey asked L.O. if Khloe supported him during his struggles with drugs, embarrassed, LO covered his face with his hand and replied, “Yeah she did.”

L.O. also shared that, most of the news, or, the things people saw and read online about him and his marriage with Khloe was little compared to the real thing that went on behind closed doors. “Behind the scenes, I put her through some s**t. The things that y’all think y’all know is crazy. But the stories that y’all don’t know is like really crazy.”

Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian tied the knot in 2009—after 30 days of laying eyes on each other—their marriage lasted for five years.

They split in 2013 but their Divorce was finalized in December 2016. Their divorce proceeding began in 2015 but was paused midway by Khloe after Lamar was hospitalized for drug overdose, alcohol, and sexual stimulant in October of 2015.

Khloe’s reason for withdrawing from the divorce was so that she could be there for Lamar. Three months later, in January, after Lamar recovered, Khloe filed for divorce again. By December 2016, their divorce was finalized.
