Pete Davidson just owned up to daddy dreams. But the comedian’s hopes of fatherhood clash with his girlfriend, Kim Kardashian. As a result, some wonder if the two can hold onto their romance amid their very different dreams. And an insider per OK magazine even spilled the tea on the clash.

Kim wants to focus on her career and four kids right now, according to the source. And the mom of North, 9; Saint, 6; Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3, feels content with her clan. Because co-parenting with estranged hubby Kanye West adds complications, Kardashian doesn’t see a need for another baby.

“Kim has told friends she does not want another baby right now,” added the insider. “She is very focused on herself and her four children, working through co-parenting issues and just having fun.” However, the source added that family remains her priority along with her career. But because Kim used a surrogate for both Chicago and Psalm, some think she could change her mind in the future. However, Pete seems to want that baby ASAP, setting up a potential war.

Pete Davidson: ‘Let’s Have Kids And Marriage!’

And even as Kim recognize’s Pete’s wishes, she won’t change her focus. “She understands Pete wants to be a dad and would never deny him that opportunity,” explained the insider. “But her aspirations are more geared toward her legal work, her businesses and the kids.”

However, that may not mean a split. “At some point the age difference could become too much for her and Pete,” admitted the source. “But right now they are just taking each day as it comes and enjoying being together.” Davidson has dished on his dreams of marriage and children. For instance, during an appearance on the talk show Hart To Heart, Pete gushed, “My favorite thing ever, which I’ve yet to achieve, is that I want to have a kid.”

And Davidson shared that he dreams of that day. “That’s like, my dream. It would be so fun to just have a little dude,” added Pete. And he noted, “I’m so excited for that chapter, so that’s kind of what I’m preparing for now. Trying to be as good of a dude … develop and get better so when that happens it’s just easier.”
