And after Cyrus co-hosted the “Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party” special show with Pete, Kim seems unhappy with the songstress.

So Kardashian took what Instagram devotees consider a drastic step. Kim reportedly unfollowed Cyrus on the social media platform, per In Touch. What did Miley do before, during, or after co-hosting the New Year’s Eve special, “Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party”? Social media sleuths tried to figure out why Kardashian had unfollowed the singer.

Twitter Goes Wild Over Kim Kardashian Unfollowing Miley Cyrus

A Twitter account devoted to the “Wrecking Ball” singer called Miley Cyrus Edition tweeted the news. “Kim Kardashian unfollowed Miley Cyrus on Instagram,” said the tweet simply. And followers seemed elated by the news. In the wake of the post, retweets, likes, and quotes soared.

Internet sleuths came up with several possible reasons for Kim unfollowing Miley. First, some pointed to Cyrus enjoying Pete’s company in Miami, Florida. And second, Miley served up some comments about Davidson that cross-referenced the reality TV star.

Pete and Miley recently appeared on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” Cyrus crooned her version of “It Should Have Been Me.” And she then dedicated her song to Kim’s new beau. “Pete Davidson, this song is for you,” revealed Miley tellingly. “When I saw those photos [of Kim and Pete canoodling], this is what I played.”
