The Kardashians spoilers and updates tease that Kanye West previously expressed his intent to be with children before he purchased a property that’s located across Kim Kardashian’s house.

Fans may recall that Kanye and Kim made the headlines when they divorced earlier this year. Now, Kanye is once again on the front page after he bought a house across the street from his ex-wife. Some people weren’t shocked by this move because of Kanye’s previous statements.

Kim Kardashian’s $60M Home

Before their split, Kanye and Kim purchased a property for $20 million in 2014. They stayed and renovated the place for four years and the value of the property has now increased to $60 million.

Kim and her kids have been staying in the mansion since her divorce from Kanye. According to TMZ, Kim and Kanye’s negotiations on the home were “cordial.”

Kanye Expresses Desire To Be With Kids

A month before news broke that Kanye purchased a home across Kim’s house, he already made it known that he wants to be near his children.

The Jasmine Brand revealed that Kanye admitted that he’s made mistakes publicly that were not acceptable as a husband. But he wants to change that narrative.

“I’m not letting E! write the narrative of my family–I’m not letting Hulu write the narrative of my family. I’m not letting Disney write the narrative of my family. I am the priest of my home,” Kanye said.

He expressed his desire to be with children as much as he can.

“So when I’m out the house, I got a house right next to the house. I’m doing everything to be right next to the situation,” he added.

Fans have mixed reactions to Kanye’s decision. Some say it was creepy while others gave it a thumbs up because it’ll allow the kids to see their parents regularly.

Hoping For A Family Reunion

Kanye believes his family will be reunited by God. In a previous interview with the podcast, Drink Champs, Kanye doesn’t think their divorce was legitimate.

Kanye said his children want their parents to be together. That’s what he wants to do.

“You know, SNL making my wife say ‘I divorced him’ on TV ’cause they just wanted to get that bar off. I ain’t never even seen the papers. We not even divorced … ’cause that ain’t no joke to me,” he explained.
