Whatever Kim Kardashian hoped to gain from her attempt to turn her big sister Kourtney Kardashian against her BFFs has been effectively thwarted.
As it is a well-known fact that the siblings haven’t been seeing eye to eye for a while as was shown in The Kardashians season 4 trailer, it’s premiere episode which aired on Thursday, September 28, showed viewers that their rivalry isn’t something that would be ending anytime soon.
The episode showed Kim, 42, arguing over the phone with Kourtney and, as usual trying to make her feel bad about herself by telling her she’s the problem and that even her (Kourtney) friends are so against her that they complain to the rest of the sisters about her.
Kim went as far as telling Kourtney that her so-called BFFs created a group chat titled, “Not Kourtney” just to talk about her.

“All of your friends call us complaining,” Kim said on the show. “Whether you think they’re the ones going to you, they’re all coming to us on the side, saying the opposite to us. We’re all confused, and we’re on a group chat labeled ‘Not Kourtney’ so we know, and have to funnel what your friends are saying to us, and have to figure out why you’re such a different person and why you have this vendetta.”
Kourtney Kardashian — Kourtney Brought Receipts
After Kim’s revelation, Kourtney, 44, who was clearly hurt wept as she accused Kim of “weaponizing everyone against me.”
However, behind the scenes, Kourtney didn’t take the coward’s way out. She did some background work and discovered that Kim told a lie to make her feel bad.
The Lemme founder’s findings came to light after she uploaded snaps from her Disney-themed baby shower on Instagram and a fan queried if the BFFs who backbite her are in the photos shared. “Are those friends on the ‘not Kourtney group chat’ Cause if so we don’t need them there,” asked the fan.
Kourtney replied the comment with, “No the members of that chat are namely Kim, Khloé, Kendall and Kylie. Case closed,” meaning that it was only her sisters who were against her.
In a separate post, Kourtney shared a screenshot of chats from her friends’ group chat which consists of Allie Rizzo Sartiano, Simon Huck, and Phil Riportella. The chat is proof that none of her friends went rogue.
In the one single screenshot in which Kourtney tagged her friends, Allie teased, “Should I soft launch the YASS Kourtney group chat?” and Simon shared that since the episode aired, trolls have been chatting him up, “OMG please! These trolls keep DM’ing me accusing me of being on the other chat,” wrote Simon.
Allie chimed, “I’m like, if only they knew our anxiety about meaningless, endless chit chat,” before going on to add, “I mean over a martini we will debrief but but dang for a group chat that didn’t exist I am fidgeting .” Simon then called out Kim for lying against them, “Kim threw us all under the bus when there was not one actual friend on the chat,”
In the comments section of the screenshot, Kourtney wrote, “I believe it was just my sisters from the surveys I’ve been taking,”
