“I feel like some of [my work] got overshadowed by paparazzi and all that kind of stuff when I was younger, and that’s kind of annoying. I wish that part didn’t happen,” said Lindsay while also adding, “I feel like that kind of took on a life of its own. So that’s why I wanted to disappear. Lindsay Lohan — Lindsay Wants To Do What Her ‘Son Can See’

Lindsay Lohan, who knows better than to pick up a tabloid magazine to read, also shared how the social media of this era is so different from the social media of her younger days. She said, “Social media is so different now than when I was younger, that everyone has control of their own story.”

She went on to say, “I don’t really pay attention to that. I don’t really read stuff that comes out either. ‘Cause I know how it works, so there’s no point. And if you immerse yourself in that stuff, you’re just going to get lost, and it can just do so much to you.”

The actress said “I do” to spending forever with her husband Bader Shammas in 2022, and made the announcement on July 2, 2022, with an Instagram post that read, “You found me and knew that I wanted to find happiness and grace, all at the same time. I am stunned that you are my husband. My life and my everything, every woman should feel like this everyday.”

A year after their marriage announcement, the couple welcomed a baby boy Luai in July 2023. When Lindsay returned to acting after her long hiatus, she took a role in the 2022 movie “Falling For Christmas,” and will also star in the upcoming movie “Irish Wish.” The mom of one told E! She also told the outlet, “But I also want to do things that inspire me, It’s a learning process—I’m having a different go at it. Figuring out what I want to do and how I want to do it.”
