Lisa Marie Presley’s Twins Lawyer Up In Bid To Ensure Fair Share Of Late Mother’s Property

The trust battle may have been amicably settled, but the legal battle is yet to be over. According to a recent filing, obtained exclusively by The Blast, the twins have requested a guardian ad litem in Lisa Marie’s trust case, which was filed by their sister Riley Keough back in June.

It is understood that the twins only want a representative that will guarantee they get their own fair share of their late mother’s property.

Finley And Harper Lockwood Request Legal Protection As Minors In Trust Battle

No one, great or small, wants to be cheated out of their rights, much less the Lockwood twins. In a surprising move, the 14-year-olds have decided to lawyer up in a bid to protect their interest as beneficiaries of Lisa Marie Presley’s multi-million dollar trust.

It’s been a thing of dispute as to the distribution of the massive estate since Lisa’s tragic death in January, and it’s understandable that the twins would want to get paid everything they’re entitled to.

This is coming after Riley Keough, 34, and her grandmother Priscilla Presley, 78, reached an agreement over the estate, which allowed Riley to be the sole trustee, as her late mother intended.

At the time, her lawyer, Justin Gold revealed that the “Daisy Jones and the Six” actress will not be charging for her services, in contrast to Priscilla, who intended to charge for the role if it were granted to her. However, Priscilla is still entitled to receive millions from the trust.

“In settling the claims pending in Priscilla’s Petition, the parties are saving significant legal fees by avoiding litigation, and they are likewise avoiding the spectacle of intra-family litigation that would have been inimical to Lisa’s wishes and not in the best interests of the family,” Gold added in the legal filing.

At present, Riley serves as sole trustee of her mother’s estate and the sub-trusts for her 14-year-old twin sisters, Harper and Finley Lockwood. Her duty is now to safeguard and invest the money “in a manner consistent with the needs of the beneficiaries, and not influenced by the desire of a Trustee.”
