Madonna Gets Her Groove Back By Dancing To Her Hit Single, “Lucky Star”

Nothing says fun like Madonna dancing to her 1983 single, “Lucky Star,” in honor of the 40th anniversary of her self-titled debut album.

“To be able to move my body and dance just a little bit makes me feel like the Luckiest Star in the world!” the “Papa Don’t Preach” singer wrote on Instagram on Thursday, “Thank you to all of my fans and friends! You must be my lucky stars too! And Happy 40th Birthday to my very. First Album- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.”

The heartwarming post was followed by an even sweeter video of her dancing to “Lucky Star.” Madonna did not address her recent hospitalization due to a serious bacterial infection.

She, however, hinted at it when she shared her gratefulness to be able to dance and move her body.

The video sees the pop legend, 64, dancing in a bathroom clad in black pants and a sheer black top with sunglasses – you know, the typical Madonna outfit.

Madonna was set to embark on her “Celebration World Tour” when she was rushed to the hospital following a health complication.

“Thank you for your positive energy. Prayers and words of healing and encouragement. I have felt your love. I’m on the road to recovery and incredibly grateful for all the blessings in my life,” she wrote on Instagram on July 10.

“My first thought when I woke up in the hospital was my children. My second thought was that I did not want to disappoint anyone who bought tickets for my tour,” she continued. “I also didn’t want to let down the people who worked tirelessly with me over the last few months to create my show. I hate to disappoint anyone.”

Madonna then kindly went on to add that though her focus is on her health, she will not be cancelling the tour. She did ask fans to bear with the slight delay.
