Mark Zuckerberg Updates Fans On His MMA Fight DreamsIn 2023, the world thought that they’d see – for the very first time – two billionaires wrestle it out in a ring. However, our dreams were sadly dashed before they truly gained wings to fly.

As it turns out, the dream of seeing a billionaire fight is not entirely extinguished since Mark Zuckerberg, aka the Meta Man, is training everyday to make his professional MMA debut.
How long might it take for this to happen? Zuckerberg’s got answers.

Mark Zuckerberg Tells Joe Rogan He Fully Intends To Make His Professional MMA Debut Despite Injury

This 2025 is shaping up to be a very interesting one. Mark Zuckerberg sat down with Joe Rogan for his first 2025 sit-down and revealed that he’s putting in the work required to get his body to the form required to face off with professional wrestlers. Imagine that. I’ve heard of unusual cravings, but this gets me on so many levels.

Anyway, the third richest man on earth was formerly a jiu-jitsu practitioner, but started incorporating more styles to his routine to cover the fighting moves used in MMA, especially to prepare his joints for the strain that comes with grappling.

You guys might remember when he tore his left knee’s anterior cruciate ligament training for a Brazilian jiu-jitsu tournament in 2023.

At the time, he posted of his surgery, writing, “Tore my ACL sparring and just got out of surgery to replace it. I was training for a competitive MMA fight for early next year, but now that’s delayed a bit.”

He shared a picture of himself in a hospital bed, with his bandaged, braced knee propped up and jutting towards the camera.

Mark Zuckerberg Still Dreaming

He raised his fist in what might signify that he’s not ready to give up. “Still looking forward to it after I recover. Thanks to everyone for the love and support,” he concluded.

As you can see, he never for one moment shied away from his desire to fight on a competitive level. This way, his punchable face will get to serve its true purpose, or so the billionaire says.

It might surprise you to also learn that Zuckerberg’s trained with some of the best fighters in the world like Israel Adesanya and Alexander Volkanovski.
