Megan Thee Stallion Trial: Key Witness Against Tory Lanez Goes Missing

Everyone knew the Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez trial was going to get messy, but it looks like we really had no idea HOW messy.  Megan’s bodyguard and a key witness for the prosecution appears to have gone missing. 

Earlier this month Megan Thee Stallion took the stand and described in detail the night her sometimes boyfriend Tory Lanez shot her in the foot outside of Kylie Jenner’s mansion.  Lanez is facing several years in prison if convicted for the crime.

Next up, Megan’s former friend (or romantic interest depending on who you ask) and things started to get a little weird.  Kelsey Harris was in the car the night that Megan thee Stallion and Tory Lanez began arguing and also had provided the police with a statement regarding what happened that night. 

However, when she took the stand she suddenly couldn’t remember anything that happened that night because she was “under the influence,” and then invoked her fifth amendment rights.  

On Friday December 16, the prosecution’s next witness was scheduled to take the stand, Megan’s bodyguard Justin Edison.  Interestingly, Justin vanished and never showed up to the court house.  On December 19 cops were spotted searching for Edison at his home and turned up nothing.

Megan Thee Stallion Key Witness Goes Missing

TMZ is reporting, “Megan’s attorney Alex Spiro told us Monday on “TMZ Live” … Meg’s team was last in touch with Justin on Thursday night, when they fully expected he would be in court Friday for testimony they felt would be devastating to Tory’s case.  Spiro believes there’s witness intimidation going on in Tory’s trial, and he claims prosecutors have launched an investigation into that.”

It looks like Tory Lanez may be facing a lot more charges if Megan’s lawyer is correct and the witness tampering can be linked to him.  On the other hand, you have to admit it is pretty brazen for anyone to think they could tamper with such a high-profile case and get away with it.  Keep checking back here for Megan Thee Stallion trial updates and more celebrity news.
