Met Gala Invites One Kardashian Family Member

According to a new report, only Kendall Jenner was invited to the 2024 Met Gala. Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian “may be snubbed.”

It makes sense for Kendall to attend the event since she’s a supermodel. Whether or not you like her runway walk, she did well for herself in the fashion world.

The biggest fashion event of the year takes place on the first Monday of May at the Metropolitan Museum in New York City. On Saturday, April 13, a new report via Page Six revealed which celebrities will attend. Out of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, only Kendall Jenner snagged an invite.

It’s still unclear whether Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, and Kylie Jenner will appear at the event. Last year, it was reported that the family was snubbed from the event.

However, Kim, Kylie, and Kendall attended the red carpet event. During another year, it was rumored that Anna Wintour snubbed Khloe from the Met Gala, which she denied on social media.

Kim Kardashian holds the current record for attending the most Met Gala events out of her family. She attended the event up to 10 times.

The 2022 Met Gala Kim’s most controversial attendance was when she wore Marilyn Monroe’s iconic birthday dress when she attended the event with her ex-boyfriend Pete Davidson.

Fans React To Kardashian Snub

Fans on Reddit speculated whether the Kardashian-Jenners will attend the highly-coveted event. One fan posted photos of their memorable fashion moments. Some took to the thread to share their thoughts.

“I think this year obviously Kim and Kendall (and Kris?) will go – will Kylie? Not sure. Khloe and Kourtney, I don’t see it,” one fan wrote.

“The same people as always, Kylie, Kendall, Kim, and Kris,” another user noted.

“All of them. They need it,” added a third fan. “Kylie will go with Tim and not Kim,” noted a fourth one.

This year’s theme at the Met Gala is “The Garden of Time – Sleeping Beauties.” It refers to fashion that’s so delicate and fragile that you can’t touch it. This would’ve been a better time for Kim Kardashian to wear Marilyn Monroe’s dress.
