Mike Tyson’s Team Updates Fans On The Former Boxer’s Health After Emergency

Mike Tyson’s team has addressed reports that the former heavyweight champion felt “nauseous and dizzy” whilst en route to LA from Miami. Passengers were reportedly asked if any of them was a doctor that can provide an on board assistance.

Mike Tyson’s health scare comes just two months before he is due to box with former Youtube-influencer turned boxer Jake Paul.

The boxing legend’s flight had been delayed by two hours in Miami due to the heat, but once it touched ground in Los Angeles paramedics rushed in to provide treatment to the heavyweight champion.

According to his team, “He became nauseous and dizzy due to an ulcer flare up 30 minutes before landing. He is appreciative to the medical staff that were there to help him.”

The typical symptoms of an ulcer flare up include nausea and vomiting, bloating, belching and gas pain, as well as chest pain and fatigue.

His team’s message comes after eye witnesses reported the incidence to In Touch on Monday morning.

“He was in first class, but we were an exit row,” an eyewitness recounted. “They asked us to stay on the plane and landed so paramedics could enter. [The stewardess] said something like, ‘He’s a really important passenger so we wanna make sure he’s OK.’ I knew it was him, but I just mouthed the words “Mike Tyson” and she nodded her head yes.” A delay of 25 minutes happened when the plane landed at LAX, as paramedics treated Tyson.

Though Tyson had admitted to being a daily user of marijuana due to its medical benefits for people like him, he reportedly gave it up in his preparation to fight Jake Paul due to it being on the list of banned substances used by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

Tyson also opened up about temporarily giving up sex as part of his training regime.

While the fight has drawn criticisms due to the wide age margin between both fighters, Tyson firmly denied it, saying, “I don’t see too many people critical about it.”
