The tweet posted by the “Wrecking Ball” singer about the upcoming show reads, “ENDLESS SUMMER VACATION (BACKYARD SESSIONS) streaming on @DisneyPlus March 10th in celebration of my record release “ The show promises to have the “We Can’t Stop” singer perform eight songs from her new album, including the chart-topper “Flowers,” it’ll also host a performance with Rufus Wainwright.—per Variety.
According to “Cinemablend,” the show will be hosting its interviews in the house where Miley shot the video of her single “Flowers,” at. It is said that the former occupant of that house was Frank Sinatra.
Miley Cyrus — Miley’s Chart-Topping Sing “Flowers”
Miley’s song “Flower” is the first song to be released from her 8th album “Endless Summer Vacation.” The song was released on January 13 and has been topping the charts since. When the song dropped, it was speculated to be a breakup song as the lyrics of the song detail Miley’s heartbreak and her bounce back—after the realization that she can be happy on her own.
The music video kicked off with Miley singing and dancing to her song on the streets of Hollywood. Dressed up in a gorgeous, flowing, gold-colored gown with an equally long gold scarf tied in a hijab style, she sealed the attire with bold dark shades. The first stanza of her lyrics says: “We were good / We were gold / Kind of dream that can’t be sold. We were right / ‘Til we weren’t / Built a home and watched it burn.”
Miley Cyrus – Initially Didn’t Want To Leave The Relationship
Miley, 30, revealed in her lyrics that she initially didn’t want to leave the relationship neither did she want to lie, but at a point, she realized that the things she needed him to do, she could do by herself so she joyfully danced as she sang;
“I didn’t want to leave you / I didn’t wanna lie / Started to cry but then remembered / I can buy myself flowers / Write my name in the sand / Talk to myself for hours / Say things you don’t understand.”
As the “LOL” actress gingerly danced to the chorus of her song, “I can take myself dancing / And I can hold my own hand / Yeah, I can love me better than you can,” a soft sound of the beat to Bruno Mars’ song “When I Was Your Man” could be heard in the background.
