Nick Cannon Says He’s Still Working On Revealing To His Children They Have Many Siblings

When it comes to parenting twelve kids from several different mothers, compromising is sure to be the order of the day. Even though Cannon says he tries to be present in the lives of his kids – minus the occasional graduations and school events – his wishes don’t always merge with the wishes of his baby mamas, not to talk of that of his ex-wife Mariah Carey, who he once revealed told him to keep the crazy out of her life.

So when it comes to his kids knowing each other, how does that work out for him exactly? Let’s hear what Cannon thinks of it.

Nick Cannon Wishes His Kids Would Want To Grow Up And Spend Time With Him

If you think DC’s Snyder-verse was complicated, try understanding the Cannon-verse. During a recent interview on The Language of Love with Dr. Laura Berman, the talk show host talked about the hurdles parenting twelve children presents to him.

“In your dream world, regardless of whether you’re romantically involved or not romantically involved with the mothers, all your children will know each other. All of your children will come together, go on trips together or outings together,” Dr. Berman asked Cannon, 42.

“Yes,” he confirmed. “They’re all Cannons. They’ll probably go to the same schools and all that.”

However, he’s still to get them all together, and that’s not by any fault of his. According to him, some of his children’s mothers don’t want that to happen yet.

“I think that we’ll get there. One of the things I’ve witnessed from some of my elders in the game, once the children get of age to make their own decisions, it’ll happen,” the Wild N’ Out host, explained.

“Because they’re currently under their mothers’ jurisdiction, I’m trying to play by the moms’ rules. But once they can make their own decisions, I would hope and pray that we’ll have established a strong enough relationship that they’ll want to come hang out with me.”

As for his eldest children, 12-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe, he revealed that he likes to keep the “dialogue open.”
