*NSYNC's Joey Fatone and Backstreet Boys’ AJ McLean to Headline New Year's Eve Performance*NSYNC’s Joey Fatone and Backstreet Boys’ are having too much fun performing together to quit now. Despite being members of two different competing boy band groups for years, these two have forged an unlikely connection that’s going to see them rocking all the way to the New Year, literally.

You heard it: if someone asks you in what universe *NSYNC and Backstreet Boys work together, you can boldly tell them this one. If they ever manage to bring a member of Westlife onboard, I’m sure it would cause a rip in the space-time continuum of cool boy bands.

It’s not like I’m complaining: *NSYNC and Backstreet Boys mashup is good enough for me.

*NSYNC’s Joey Fatone And Backstreet Boys’ AJ McLean Tease New Year’s Eve Show

It seems fitting to end the year and usher in a new one with a co-headline New Year’s Eve performance, especially after the fantastic year that the duo just had touring North America this spring.

The joint headline tour, called ‘A Legendary Night,’ saw the two pop icons join forces to perform a number of their ‘90s and ‘00s hits, alongside stunning choreography. Both 46, the vocalists performed a series of shows in Wallingford, Connecticut, Boston and Newark, New Jersey before wrapping up with three concerts across Florida.

To show their gratitude to fans following what was an amazing mini-tour, Fatone and McLean have decided to put on a show this New Year’s Eve at House of Blues Orlando, in Florida.

What *NSYNC’s Joey Fatone Has Said About Working With Backstreet Boys’ AJ McLean

Prior to their mini-tour ‘A Legendary Night’ kicking off, Fatone had touched on his blossoming bromance with McLean.

Fatone said, “I’ve known AJ as long as I’ve known my own band members. We’ve worked together in the past on one-off projects here and there but never had the opportunity to create something together. This tour gives us the chance to combine the best of both musical worlds.”

He further added, “I hope our fans are ready for a show that’ll take them on a journey through the magic of *NSYNC, Backstreet Boys, and everything-in-between. This show is all about fun and reminiscing and we can’t wait to share this moment with audiences across the country.”
