Olivia Jade knows how it feels to go from fame to infamy. As a result of her mom, actress Lori Loughlin, Olivia succeeded in making money as a social media influencer. But then came the college admissions bribe scandal. And Jade watched in dismay as her link to Lori caused her sponsors to flee.
But in recent months, Loughlin gradually has gone from post-prison celebrity to popular actress. And Olivia has experienced the same dramatic turnaround. Find out how Jade made her comeback below!
Olivia Jade Survives Lori Loughlin Scandal
In December 2020, Lori Loughlin returned to her daughter Olivia Jade after a two-month prison sentence. That jail time resulted from Lori’s guilty plea in a college admissions bribery scandal. But for both Jade and her sister Isabella Rose, the scandal aftermath turned into a challenge, reported Today.
Loughlin, famed for her role on “Full House,” had admitted to shelling out $500,000 to a so-called “fixer” to get Olivia and Isabella into the University of Southern California. And as Olivia said, “It’s been hard. I think for anybody, no matter what the situation is, you don’t want to see your parents go to prison. But also I think it’s necessary for us to move on and to move forward.”
And for Jade, moving on meant returning to the public spotlight on “Dancing With The Stars” (DWTS). As a result of that role, Olivia, 22, attracted new social media followers. And now Jade has shown that she knows how to use her return to fame for profit, pointed out the Daily Mail.
Olivia Jade Models For Mental Health Foundation!
Recently, Olivia Jade stepped back into the spotlight in a campaign for a clothing brand, Madhappy. And she also shared what the brand’s non-profit foundation means to her. The Madhappy Foundation works on promoting open discussions about mental health.
And after what she has survived, Jade revealed that mental health plays an important role in her life. But she also hinted at her own emotional struggles. For instance, the 22-year-old daughter of Lori Loughlin stated, “Mental health means a lot to me.” And she urged her followers to recognize the importance of honesty. “[It’s] important to remind ourselves there is nothing to be ashamed of if you don’t feel 100 percent,” added Jade.

Looking back at what she has survived, Olivia owns up to her struggles amid Loughlin’s college admissions scandal. When that news broke, Jade lost every sponsorship deal that she had worked so hard to achieve. As a result, Olivia now feels pride in her return to success. But she also learned some important lessons.
For instance, Jade shared that she has discovered “the value of being kind and uplifting others.” And she also revealed that she has learned kindness “has the ability to impact my own mental state in a positive way.” As a result, Olivia has sought to use her lessons in her career as podcast host. And the future looks promising as well. Jade reportedly has arranged for “some big deals in the works for 2022,” shared a source.
