Pamela Anderson Says Her Divorce From Tommy Lee Was A Low-Point In Her Life

If there’s one thing that is for certain, it’s that Pamela Anderson is someone who has seen the good, the bad, and the downright ugly in her life. The Vancouver Island native says that her divorce from Tommy Lee had “crushed” her during one of the lowest points of her life. Here’s what she has to say.

In her new book, Love, Pamela, the screen icon says that her marriage to the Motley Crue drummer was “the hardest, lowest, most difficult point of my life.” As many fans know, the couple got married back in 1995 after only knowing one another for four days. They went on to welcome their two sons, Brandon and Dylan, together. She says that her marriage to Tommy was the only time that she truly felt as though she was in love.

Pamela says that her “hell” began when Tommy Lee was arrested for spousal abuse in 1998. He ended up spending six months in jail. Pamela says that Tommy was kicking her back while she held their son Dylan.

She said, “I still couldn’t believe that the person I loved the most was capable of what had happened that night. We were both devastated, but I had to protect my babies.”

What’s Next For Pamela Anderson?

With that said, the actress and model added that she and Tommy are in a good place now and that they regularly check up on one another. Pamela also says that these days, she doesn’t need a man in her life. “I don’t need someone to bring me roses,” she explained. “I’ve just planted a hundred rose bushes. I can get them any time I want.”

She continued, “I’m sure it would be lovely if someone else was in my life and wanted the same thing, but I’ve just never met them. It’s usually about catering to them, and there has to be a balance.”
