Pete Davidson Makes Surprise Return To Social Media Following Ex Kim Kardashian’s Subtle Shade

Has Pete Davidson returned to Instagram? The former SNL comedian deleted his Instagram account last year due to tons of negative messages he received from trolls.

Looks like Davidson is back to his account as he changed his profile picture on the platform with the promo image from his upcoming Peacock comedy Bupkis.

Although he didn’t post anything on his account, his recent move comes after his ex-girlfriend Kim Kardashian threw a subtle shade at him on her own Instagram story.

The SKIMS founder took to her Instagram story to upload a video of her in Doctor Simon Ourian’s clinic in Beverly Hills. Kim had a tattoo filter on her camera as she told her followers, “So, I wanted to see if Doctor Ourian is really good at tattoo removal.”

Although she was giggling while saying it, Doctor Ourian went with the flow and said, “Yeah, don’t get tattoos kids!,” as Kim pulled up her black hoodie to show off the tattoos caused by her camera filter.

It didn’t take long for Kim to break character and say, “Erm, we’re gonna see how this goes,” she said, adding: “I’m just kidding! We’re here to check on our Coolaser.”

Few months after Pete and Kim began dating, Pete got a tattoo in honor of Kim’s successful law degree. The tattoo says, “My girl is a lawyer.” When Kim’s followers saw the video they immediately concluded that Kim was shading Pete.

After the two called off their relationship, it was said that Pete had the Tattoo removed. The news came after Pete was spotted wearing a band-aid covering the spot where the “My girl is a lawyer,” tattoo used to be.

Pete Davidson — About The Tatts Pete Got For Kim

About a year ago in March 2022, when the “KUWTK” star, 42, was dating Pete, 29, Kim uploaded a pic of the tattoo Pete got in honor of her, on Instagram. The tattoo was located on the left side of Pete’s Clavicle where there was no ink, initially.

In an interview on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” that month, Kim poked fun at the tattoo saying “It says, ‘My girl is a lawyer,’ and that one is really cute.”

Kim pointed out that Pete wanted to do something really different to celebrate their relationship, despite having other tattoos.

Talking to Ellen, she said “First tattoo he got, I was like, ‘Oh, so cute. Thank you, oh my God,’ you know? Second [tattoo] I’m like, ‘Oh, that’s so cute,’ but that’s what tattoo people do, right? They get tattoos of what’s going on in their life.”

The reality tv star said “I think he was like, I want something that’s there that I can’t get rid of … because he’s in the process of getting rid of his arm tats and his neck tats, so he’s like, ‘I don’t want to be able to get rid of it or to cover it up and I just wanted it there as a scar on me.'”
