Pete Davidson, the 28-year-old boyfriend of Kim Kardashian, 41, returned to Instagram recently. And the “Saturday Night Live” (SNL) star seemed like a man with a very specific mission. First, Pete responded to Kanye West’s ongoing slams by mocking the rapper, 44. And second, Davidson dropped a clue to his new horror film project.
But wait, where’s Pete? Within hours of re-appearing on Instagram, Davidson deleted all his posts. But we’ve got the tale behind that deletion, from how he mocked Kanye to his horror film project. Plus: Find out the real reason that Pete deleted his Instagram below!
Pete Davidson Trolls Kanye West With Subtle Shade!
In recent weeks, Kanye West has repeatedly thrown shade at Pete Davidson for daring to date his estranged wife Kim Kardashian. And at first, Pete responded by taking the high road and ignoring the rapper. But at last, the SNL comedian found the perfect subtle response, pointed out the Sun.
Rather than rap the rapper directly, Davidson posted a YouTube video of Rupert Pupkin from the “King of Comedy.” And as the video showed, the character portrayed by Robert De Niro offered a message for Kanye. “Better to be king for a night than schmuck for a lifetime.”
And fans quickly caught on, applauding Pete for keeping his response classy. For instance, one fan wrote, “Jokes aside, Pete is handling this with class.” And another chimed in, “Honestly, drama aside, this is how you handle situations.” But Davidson’s supporters got their own digs in at Kanye. As one wrote, “Some people will do anything to get what they want or who they think they own.”
Pete Davidson Hints At New Horror Film Before Deleting Instagram Again
Blink and you’ll miss it! Although Pete Davidson may try to distinguish himself from Kanye West, the two share something in common (and no, it’s not Kim Kardashian!). Both the rapper and the comedian tend to post on social media, and then quickly turn around and delete that post. But luckily, a few of Pete’s loyal followers captured his Instagram horror film clues and shared on Twitter. Davidson then deleted his Instagram again.

And Pete might have wanted to continue offering insights into his upcoming horror film project, titled “The Home.” But then the 28-year-old faced a flood of messages. And that onslaught reminded Pete of “why he didn’t want social media to begin with,” explained an insider. As a result of the horror movie and other large film projects, Davidson wants to focus on his work and not social media, according to the source.

In the new Miramax horror thriller “The Home,” Pete will portray a man named Max who suffers scary experiences in his job at a retirement home, reported Deadline. James DeMonaco will direct the movie. “We’re excited to be backing DeMonaco’s brilliant vision,” revealed producer Bill Block. “With his masterful storytelling abilities and Pete’s versatility as an actor, this film will put audiences everywhere on the edge of their seats.”
