Pioneer Woman Ree Drummond has shared more details about the dangerous crash her family was involved in. The mother of four, author and food writer recently shared updates about the crash that took place on Drummond land on her Facebook page, saying that the crash incident could have been worse.
On Wednesday last week, Drummond’s husband Ladd and 21-year-old nephew Caleb had been battling a fire that was spreading in the Drummond land, when they both had a head-on collision. It was said that dust particles caused by high speed wind had played a part in the accident by obscuring their vision, thereby rendering each unable to see the other.
Caleb got off worse in the accident, as he was ejected 70 feet into the air, but Ladd seemed to have had no major injuries, and refused to be treated at the scene, but was still flown to a local hospital via Life Flight helicopter.
