Pioneer Woman Ree Drummond’s Daughter Shares Insight Into COWGIRL Life

Ask Ree Drummond’s daughter, Paige, what it means to work at a cow ranch as opposed to an office and she’ll tell you that there’s no such thing as a determined working hours at the ranch.

As far as she can tell, the work is never done. But the 23-year-old derives a lot of joy taking care of her cows.

Paige Calls “Feeding” the Cows One Of Her Favorite Things To Do As Food Network Star Mother Shares Insight Into Her Work Day At The Ranch

Ree Drummond, 52, just shared an insight into her daughter’s work on the farm in a video posted on Instagram on Saturday.

The video shows her daughter Paige carrying out her duties bright and early, in a clip from her Food Network show, The Pioneer Woman.

In the clip, we hear her talking about her daughter’s work, saying, “Paige starts pretty early around daylight. She arrives at the ranch from town, fills up her feeder, and then heads out into the pasture to feed the cattle.”

Paige then takes over the narrative, making us privy to how she feels when performing her duties.

“Feeding is one of my favorite things to do because you’re really just getting up and getting in your truck and driving around and the sunrises are really pretty,” Paige then added. “So I honestly really enjoy feeding. It’s just fun, and it’s honestly kind of peaceful.”

The cook and author further described the importance of the work her daughter is doing, noting that feeding is “an essential part of ranching,” especially in the winter when the grass level isn’t enough for the cattle.

She further explained that feeding all the cattles can be a lot of work, since it takes “a few hours and a few trips” to the tank to get the job done.

But you know, Paige isn’t complaining, and while she’s changed sceneries from working in an office building to working at a farm in the mornings, she’s still proud of the work she does.

“My morning meetings look a lot different now that I’m working out here,” she said in the clip. “Instead of being in an office building, I’m out here with all the cows. So, it’s definitely really different, but I personally love it.”
