“Black Widow” actress, Scarlet Johansson, and her husband Colin Jost tied the knot in 2020, and now their family has gotten bigger with the arrival of their first baby together. Congratulations are in order for the new parents and their loved ones who share in the couple’s joy.

Scarlett, 36, and her husband Colin Jost welcomed their first child together, and it’s a boy named Cosmo. On Wednesday, the new dad announced the birth casually in an Instagram post, “Ok Ok we had a baby. His name is Cosmo. We love him very much.” We get it, no need to light fireworks or anything, the baby’s Cosmo!

PEOPLE magazine first confirmed the news of Johansson’s delivery in New York. No other details were immediately available.

The couple pulled one of Hollywood’s biggest surprises by keeping the pregnancy news under wraps for many months. Scarlett’s pregnancy was first confirmed by Jost, who surprised his audience by hinting that his family is growing, during a recent comedy show.

“Colin made the announcement from the [Ridgefield Playhouse] stage,” an audience member told E! News recently. “He played two sold out shows on Sunday [Aug. 15] and casually dropped that he and Scarlett are expecting soon.”

Scarlett’s delivery officially made Jost a first time parent, however, the “Lucy” actress already shares 6-year-old daughter, Rose Dorothy Dauriac, with ex-husband Romain Dauriac.

Last fall, Wheels on Meals, a nonprofit organization, was the first to share the news of Scarlett and Colin Jost’s new married status.

“We’re thrilled to break the news that Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost were married over the weekend in an intimate ceremony with their immediate family and loved ones, following COVID-19 safety precautions as directed by the CDC,” the organization revealed in a statement. “Their wedding wish is to help make a difference for vulnerable older adults during this difficult time by supporting @mealsonwheelsamerica.”

Ever since the couple met and started dating, they’ve been very private about their relationship.

The 39-year-old “Saturday Night Live” star, who proposed to Scarlett Johansson following a 2-year courtship, praised his wife in his 2020 memoir.

He described her as having “a grace and a smile that I’ve still never seen in any other human,” adding, “I’ve met someone I love and who I feel more comfortable with than I ever have before. I feel more confident committing to what I’m working on and standing by whatever I create, regardless of whether people like it or not.”

Scarlett has also spoken about Jost’s romantic side in a 2019 interview with Ellen DeGeneres.

“It was a very special moment,” she recalled at the time. “And I think, more than anything, when someone tells you they want to share the rest of their life with you, it’s a lovely, special thing.”
