Scott Disick tried to hold onto his romance with Kourtney Kardashian for years. But as shown on “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” (KUWTK), Kourtney finally dumped him. And while they still co-parent their three children, Kardashian moved on with Travis Barker. However, OK magazine claims that prior to Kourtney and Travis’ wedding, Scott did all he could to split the lovebirds.

An insider described Disick as getting upset as soon as Kardashian introduced Barker as her boyfriend to her family and her friends. As a result of Scott’s jealousy, the Kardashian family felt forced to exclude him from many KUWTK clan events, according to the source. “The brutal truth is they have to choose between him and Kourtney,” summed up the insider.

However, the source also pointed out that Disick faced options. For instance, Scott could have made a point of treating Travis like another family member and even welcoming him. But instead, Disick did the opposite. And he allegedly tried to get Kourtney to end her romance prior to her wedding to Barker. 

Scott “did everything in his power to torment her and Travis,” alleged the insider. And Disick then “tried to make Kourtney look like the bad guy. That’s why she’s angry.”

Disick allegedly did all he could to cause Kourtney and Travis to split, according to the insider. “Instead of being happy for her when she fell in love, Scott just got really bitter,” claimed the source. “He even tried to convince her that she was making a mistake!”

Because of Disick’s actions, the Kardashian family gradually started to exclude him, according to the insider. However, they do want to see him on occasion. But their previous decision to treat Scott like family has shifted, noted the source. “It’s not like they never want to see him,” clarified the insider. “But they’re not inviting him to hang out all the time or come to their family dinners.”

And Kourtney has followed that trend. Because she co-parents Mason, 12, Penelope, 9, and Reign, 7, with Scott, Kardashian maintained an open-door policy with Scott. But not anymore. Kourtney reportedly put new locks on her door to block Disick. As a result of his actions, she felt she had “no other option,” explained the insider.
