Selena Gomez Denies Shading Justin Bieber’s Wife Hailey Baldwin

Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber survived an on-again, off-again romance that convinced many fans the two were destined for marriage. But after a bad breakup, Bieber moved on to a new romance. And his wife Hailey Baldwin Bieber now seems like Justin’s perfect match.

Justin Bieber’s wife Hailey Baldwin Bieber knows how it feels to deal with social media haters. But when the backlash comes from Justin’s ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez, life gets awkward. However, Selena seemed baffled at the shady accusations, reported Page Six. As a result, her apology seemed to fall into the category of “sorry, but not really sorry.”

The Baldwin Bieber brouhaha began when Gomez shared various videos on TikTok. But some fans thought that Selena threw shade at Hailey Baldwin in one of the videos. And in response, Gomez insisted that she did not know what she did wrong. But then she apologized anyway.

“This is why I believe in taking care of your mental health,” shared Selena, 29, after the backlash. “Guys no idea what I did but I really am sorry. Zero bad intention.” And Gomez also removed fans’ ability  to comment on her video. However, one fan captured an image and posted it on Twitter.

In the original video, Hailey shares how she gets ready for her day on TikTok. But then Selena followed up on the 25-year-old’s clips with her version of a skincare routine. Some thought Gomez seemed to roll her eyes and mock Hailey, resulting in the claims that she threw shade at Baldwin. For instance, one follower wrote, “It’s giving I’m a performative loser who blatantly gets away with bullying other women… And the way she twisted her eyes in every step… “

But while the latest backlash focuses on Selena, Hailey has experienced her own share of hate from Gomez’s fans. As a result, Baldwin recently pleaded for silence. “Enough time has gone by,” pointed out Hailey in regard to Selena and Justin breaking up. “I’m minding my business. Leave me alone, please.”

So why do some fans still ship Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez as “Jelena”? The two share a long history since their romance began in 2011. And the drama never ended as they clung together, then broke up, then rekindled the romance, and then broke up. But an insider insisted that the last breakup represented a “break” rather than a split.

And the source also claimed that both Justin and Selena struggled with “trust issues.” As a result, “there’s a lot going on there. They do this all the time. They get into arguments. It’s hard to keep up with those two!”

But a mere five months after that supposed break, Bieber and Baldwin tied the knot at a New York City courthouse. And rather than end the shipping of Justin and Selena, a feud exploded. As evident by the recent backlash, that feud between fans of Hailey and followers of Selena shows no evidence of ending soon!
