Snoop Dogg Reveals How He And Martha Stewart Make More Money By Going Into Business TogetherYou ever heard of the phrase “friends with benefits?” Well, next time you do think of Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart.

These two have not only enjoyed decades long friendship – I mean, they’ve got the major BFF energy to the T – but they’ve been making money while they’re at it. Give me a sec while I update my friendship goals.

Snoop Dogg – Says He And Lifestyle Guru Martha Stewart Mix Friendship With Business

It’s a friendship that started when Snoop Dogg guest starred on Martha Stewart’s cooking show in 2008, and it’s a friendship that’s endured even the cruel weather that comes with business – and not many friendships survive that, I can tell you that.

Since their acquaintance, they’ve gone on to appear in commercials, TV shows and more together. In fact, the rapper surprised Stewart during her 83rd birthday this year with a muppet. And then they spent the weekend watching equestrian at the 2024 Olympics because they’re cool friends.

“Our relationship is like any other friend that I have. I like who you are, what you stand for, and I want to get to know you and hang out with you,” Snoop, 52, opened up to PEOPLE about his relationship to Stewart for a recent cover story interview. “It went from that to actually doing that, to she was willing to do the same things I was willing to do.”

After their “first few experiences of hanging out, they decided to start brainstorming and they immediately discovered how much they have in common when it comes to recognizing a great business idea.

“She presents an opportunity, we present it to a network and we make some things happen,” he said.

Snoop Dogg – Describes How He And Martha Stewart Recommend Businesses To Each Other

Going into business together as friends further helped them overcome certain roadblocks, for a more smooth sailing experience.

“It’s been numerous calls where she would call me and be like, ‘Snoop, I was trying to get you to do a deal with Skechers, but your people was in the middle. They didn’t want to do it.’ I’m like, ‘For real?’ She’s like, ‘Yeah, you should fuck with them. Look at my shoes,'” he said.

“On the flip side of that, I got the 19 Crimes wine deal, red wine, we popping off. Boom, boom, boom. ‘Hey Martha, what’s happening? You ain’t got no wine deal. You want to come on over here and play with us?'” Snoop recalled, whose recommendation led to 19 Crimes’ Martha’s Chard, her white wine offering with the brand. “Now, they got our bottles back to back.”

Not just that, Snoop Dogg and Stewart have hosted cooking shows and done a BIC lighter campaign together — “because she likes to light candles, and you know what I like to light. We willing to try things.”

Speaking of trying things, Stewart inspired Snoop Dogg to write not one, but two cookbooks.
