Seagal had some interesting things to see about the current political climate in the United States, as he believes that America is spending “billions of dollars of disinformation, lies.” Now, if there is any real proof of that, no one really knows.

Seagal went on to say that America seems to be on a campaign to “attempt to try to discredit, demoralize and destroy the emerging morale of Russia.”

Steven Seagal – Says He’s One Million Percent Russian

He continued, “Over half of the people in America actually love Russia and love Russians and know that they’re being lied to. My father was pure Russian, and I was raised in a pure Russian household, because my mother was completely immersed in the Russian culture and she did not have parents.

So, I grew up with Russian culture. I grew up loving Russia and loving all of what I learned about it from a very early age. And for me, I am one million per cent Russophile and one million per cent Russian.”

As many of his fans probably already know, Seagal was born in Michigan, but moved to Los Angeles later in life. He attended high school in Buena Park, California and went to Fullerton College in the early seventies and even spent some time living in Japan. His father was Jewish while his mother was of Irish descent.

However, his paternal grandparents were Russian Jewish immigrants who came from the Vladivostok area, as well as Belarus and Saint Petersburg.
