It looks like he still can’t get over one of the biggest loves of his life. Of course, we are talking about Ted Turner as there’s a new report that suggests the media mogul is begging his ex Jane Fonda to take him back. Here’s what you need to know.

According to the latest edition of The Globe, it looks like Jane Fonda isn’t wanting to take one step back in her love life when she’s taken so many steps forward. Yet, sources say that Ted Turner is begging the Hollywood beauty to come back, despite concerns that his mind is slowly slipping away because of dementia.

One source close to the situation even put it this way, “Ted’s ability to recall moments in his life is fleeting. But he does say the happiest times were being married to Jane, when they were powerful and glamorous – and had the world eating out of their hands.”

As many fans can recall, Jane and Ted pulled the plug on their marriage back in 2001 after being with each other for ten years. Apparently, Jane accused Ted of cheating on her at the time. Despite their differences, both still remained friends and never one of them went on to remarry.

With that said, it seems like Ted really wants to make things work but unfortunately it doesn’t seem like he’s got a lot of time on his side.

The insider said, “He still talks to Jane and tells her that they belong together, although Jane can tell he doesn’t remember the troubles they had that led them to divorce in the first place.”

The tipster continued, “She still adores Ted and hates to see him suffer. But at the same time, Jane knows she herself doesn’t have much time left and her cancer may return. Jane says she just can’t hide away from the world with Ted – as much as she wants to be a comfort to him in his final days.”
