The Jonas Brothers To Return To Disney This Coming Christmas With A Special Project

Someone might want to tell the Jonas Brothers that it’s too early for Christmas? I mean, I’m not even sure I’m done digesting all the cookies and drinks and turkeys that I consumed during the holidays, let alone get myself in the mindset to face another one.  But it’s the Jonas Brothers, so I guess I can forgive them for making January feel like Christmas.

The Jonas Brothers Reunite For A Disney+ Movie Debuting This Holiday Season

The Jonas Brothers will be returning to Disney soon, and what they’ve cooked up is something that’s gotten me perked up. I guess in a way, they have been teasing this Disney collaboration, since they’ve pretty much been reminiscing about the good old days of ‘Camp Rock’.

“I understand the impact the film had and has had,” Nick Jonas told PEOPLE about the enduring love for ‘Camp Rock’ in August. “And I am super amused, I would say, by the clips from it that have since gone viral now on TikTok and other places.”

So yeah. The plot for this upcoming holiday movie will be centered on the race to get home on time for Christmas.

The brothers will face a series of escalating mishaps as they struggle to get home to New York from London in time to spend Christmas with their families. At present, we don’t know how much of real life this might imitate.

In a promo video for the project, we see Nick, Joe and Kevin holding up cards on a holiday-decorated front porch as snow falls behind them. “Hi! We’re the Jonas Br…,” Joe starts before Nick urgently shuts him up, “No, don’t say it! The whole point is you don’t say it, you just let them read it.”

Now sticking to the rehearsed script, the brothers flip through the cards that read, “Sorry to bother you … but we’re making a Christmas movie … coming out this holiday season …. only on Disney+.”

Who Is Involved In The Jonas Brothers Christmas Movie?

At present, the project goes by the name, ‘Jonas Brothers Christmas Movie.’ Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger are serving as the film’s writers and producers.

The Jonas Brothers will also be producing, alongside Adam Fishbach, Spencer Berman and Scott Morgan. Jessica Yu is directing the project.
