Tom Brady Apologizes For Outburst Amid Marital Separation Rumors

Tom Brady recently reflected on the “ugly” moment when he angrily threw a tablet during a football game, much to his fan’s admiration.

The quarterback also joked about it, saying that he could imagine the outburst ending up as a meme in somebody’s Twitter timeline.

In a new video shared with fans on Twitter, the 45-year-old quarterback said that he thinks his recent emotional outburst at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers game against the New Orleans Saints will end up as a Twitter “meme”.

In the clip, he said that he was “sorry” for frustratingly throwing his tablet to the ground on the sidelines during the game between his team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the New Orleans Saints on Sunday. He also talked about heading back home to Tampa Bay, even though it’s rumored that he’s living separately from his wife.

“Great win to get to 2-0,” Tom said in the video – a nod to his team’s winning streak since defeating the Dallas Cowboys earlier this month. “The ugly ones count too. Sorry for breaking that tablet. I think that’s going to be another Twitter meme or something like that.”

His apology was well-received by fans, who thanked him for the wins, shared in his joke about the moment becoming a meme, or simply said “respect” for how he owned up to his unnecessary outburst.

For years, Tom Brady and wife Gisele Bundchen’s relationship have been beautiful and very publicly romantic, at times. In fact, their level of support for each other earned them the rank of a power couple.

During this year’s training camp with the Buccaneers, it was revealed that Giselle wasn’t onboard with Tom’s decision to return to NFL after his brief retirement last Spring.

Giselle, who shares two children with the professional sportsman, also opened up about it in an interview with Elle Magazine. “This is a very violent sport, and I have my children and I would like him to be more present,” she said earlier this month. “I have definitely had those conversations with him over and over again. But ultimately, I feel that everybody has to make a decision that works for [them]. He needs to follow his joy, too.”

Since tying the knot in 2009, model Giselle and quarterback Brady have been public about their relationship, with Giselle and their kids showing up to support Brady on many of his games.

At the moment, neither of them have responded to the separation allegations.
