Tom Brady’s Response To Question About His NFL Future Will Shock You

Is Tom Brady having mood swings? Some unexpected questions can very easily throw you off, such that if you’re not in a good mood or if it struck a nerve, your reaction or response at that moment would be something that you would wish to retract but you can’t because it already caused harm.

This is almost what happened to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady. He unintentionally lashed out at his co-host Jim Gray for asking a simple question which, from Tom’s response he didn’t want to talk about.

Tom Brady – Replied Jim With An “F” Word

So this is how it went down. During the January 23 episode of “Let’s Go! with Tom Brady, Larry Fitzgerald and Jim Gray” podcast, Tom’s co-host Jim Gray requested to know what Tom’s plans for his future with NFL were.

Jim began with, “Tom, you’re leaving everybody guessing,” before going on to ask Tom, “You said you’ll take your time. Do you have any type of a timetable as to what you might want to do regarding your football career?”

Well, maybe it wasn’t the right place, or, Tom wasn’t in his best mood. Either way, his response to Jim’s question left everyone in shock. Tom used the “F” word on Jim, not once but twice.

Snapping at Jim, Tom said, “If I knew what I was f—king doing, I’d have already f—king done it.” Tom must have realized his tone of response and language too, so he tried to change the awkward silence by adding “I’m taking it a day a time” with a laugh.

A long pause followed suit before Tom said, “I appreciate you asking,” before adding “Thank you.”

Last year, on February 1, 2022, Tom resumed the new month with an announcement that he would be retiring from football. 40 days later which is nearly two months after the announcement, Tom took to his Twitter to explain to he would be lacing up his boots again.

Tom’s reason is that he finds it difficult to stay away from playing. Tom’s decision to return to the field is not what his wife wants hence their divorce.

Speaking with Elle Magazine last year in October, Gisele revealed that she’s not entirely in support of her husband’s return to the NFL because “This is a very violent sport, and I have my children and I would like him to be more present.”

Gisele’s point of view can be understood because she’s speaking from the place of a wife and, Tom is not just her husband but also a father to their two children Benjamin, 12, and Vivian, 10.

Continuing, Gisele said “I have definitely had those conversations with him over and over again. But ultimately, I feel that everybody has to make a decision that works for [them]. He needs to follow his joy, too.”

According to Gisele, she too has dreams which she put on hold to support her husband’s football dream, and to cater for her family.
