Toni Collette Divorces Hubby After His Kisses For Another Woman Go Viral!

Toni Collette does not believe in wasting time. And just hours after photos of her husband kissing another woman went viral, the actress announced her divorce. Toni and her husband Dave Galafassi had devoted almost 20 years to their marriage.

Toni Collette – Splits After Hubby Kisses Another Woman

Heading to Instagram, Collette kept her divorce announcement positive. But the 50-year-old actress made her decision soon after pictures of Dave kissing another woman became news. However, the divorce from her 44-year-old musician husband came as a unified announcement, noted Page Six.

After nearly 20 years of married life, Toni shared that she and Galafassi wanted to split. And she began, “It is with grace and gratitude that we announce we are divorcing.” A photo of flowers showed the words “PEACE & LOVE.” And though the divorce news came just after those photos of her hubby kissing another woman went viral, Collette added,  “We’re united in our decision.”

The divorce news also put the focus on the soon-to-be exes’ children. And Toni shared that the two separated “with continuing respect and care for each other. Our kids are of paramount importance to us,” added the actress. “And we will continue to thrive as a family, albeit a different shape.”

But Collette and Galafassi also requested privacy as they move through the split process. Toni and Dave married in 2003. Most recently, the actress and musician spent time in both Australia and the United States. They co-parent a daughter Sage Florence, 14, and a son Arlo Robert, 11.

“We’re thankful for the space and love you grant us as we evolve and move through this transition peacefully,” added the Instagram divorce announcement. “Big thanks.” However, the carefully worded divorce statement came after some drama.

It all began when paparazzi pictures revealed Galafassi kissing a blonde woman on a beach in Sydney. Toni’s husband and the woman, later identified as 41-year-old chiropractor Shannon Egan, enjoyed PDA on the beach and in the water. An observer described the couple as “all over each other.”

And soon after those photos went viral, Collette turned to her Instagram. In an Instagram Story, she dropped a quote that contained a clue about her thoughts for her future. And she wrote, “No matter what your current circumstances are, if you can imagine something better for yourself, you can create it.” It appears that her “something better” involved divorcing Galafassi after his canoodling session with another woman.
