Tom Cruise might be one of the biggest names in the entertainment industry who loves to talk to anyone who will give him a platform, but there are some things he would rather not chat about.

One of them happens to be his parenting life. As many of his fans know, Tom and his ex-wife Katie Holmes filed for divorce back in 2012.

There’s always been a lot of speculation about whether or not his daughter Suri Cruise is still in his life. Well, here are some tragic details surrounding their daddy and daughter relationship.

The last time that Tom Cruise was seen in public with his daughter Suri Cruise was back in 2012 when he went on a special trip to Walt Disney World and Aquatica soon after Katie Holmes pulled the plug on their relationship.

The trip was meant for Tom and Suri to bond but of course, the paparazzi followed them everywhere they went during their time in Orlando.

That said, Tom has not been seen with Suri ever since his divorce was finalized with Katie. While the details of their custody battle have never been made public.

It’s been assumed that Katie might have full-time custody just because she is always pictured with her daughter while they are out and about in New York City.

Then again, there’s always the possibility that Tom might be in communication with his daughter, but it might also be done privately and behind closed doors.

Of course, Tom himself has not made any comments about whether or not he is in Suri’s life and if they have a relationship. The young girl just turned 18 and Tom has not made any comments about the matter.

Now that Suri is a young adult, she is also free to do what she wants. She can reach out to her famous father at any time and hopefully work on  that time they lost during her childhood. At least, that’s what some fans are hoping for.
