Hilary Duff’s – Husband calls out Candace Cameron Bure For TikTok

On July 4, Candace Cameron Bure went all out to create a “patriotic” TikTok. In the clip, Cameron Bure’s clothing is all about the American flag, including a headband topped with stars. While Candace dances around, showing off her “patriotic” outfit, she laughs. The GAC star then says, “I mean, c’mon, did you expect anything less from me? Happy Fourth of July!”

Meanwhile, her TikTok celebration was backed by Born In The USA Instrumental by The Hit Crew.

While Candace believed she was doing a good thing, not everyone was impressed by her Fourth of July post. Meanwhile, this isn’t just because she dressed like a cartoonish embodiment of the Pledge of Allegiance.

Meanwhile, Hilary Duff’s musician husband Matthew Koma called out the Fuller House star in his own TikTok. In fact, he took exception to Cameron Bure’s choice of backing music. Seemingly, Candace thought Bruce Springsteen’s 1986 hit, Born in the U.S.A., was a celebration of patriotism. However, the song is anything but.

Koma pointed out the darker meaning behind Springsteen’s hit song, which many might not know. In his own TikTok, side by side with Cameron Bure’s, he says, “Yeah, that song you’re playing.” Matthew added:

It’s about veterans coming home from Vietnam and being treated like shit. It’s not about the Fourth of July.

Meanwhile, another TikTok user called Candace out for her July 4th post. In her clip, Lauren Rose said, “This is apparently the new political divide,” adding, “You are either pro-choice or Team Candace.”

He said he was inspired to write the song after attending a 1981 benefit concert in Los Angeles for Vietnam veterans. According to NPR, the lyrics describe a man who feels lost and enlists. He then returns home to a nation that could care less about his service to his country.

According to Buzzfeed, Cameron Bure has yet to respond to the criticism of her tasteless TikTok.
