After news that the famous couple Leonardo DiCaprio and Camila Morrone have called it quits in their relationship which lasted for 4 years, a source close to the couple exclusively revealed to E! News the main reason for the split.

The couple didn’t have a fight, trust me, they actually split amicably and I can assure you they’re still good friends, however, due to how their careers are, it requires a lot of traveling so they do travel a lot and to very long distances too eventually they couldn’t keep up with the long distance so there you have it, the sole cause of their breakup is “travel” and “distance.”

The thing is, Leonardo and Camila first sparked relationship rumors way back in December 2017, in 2018 they began dating and actually displayed a little PDA during their attendance at Coachella in April of that year. The couple actually made their official public debut back in 2020 at the Oscars. Although the two arrived at the occasion separately, they sat together all through the event.

While Leonardo is 47 years, Camila is 25 years so they have a 22-year gap between them, that age difference doesn’t escape fans because they sure showed their displeasure. In 2019, Camila took it upon herself to address the hatred surrounding the age difference between her and her lover, she said, “There’s so many relationships in Hollywood—and in the history of the world—where people have large age gaps. I just think anyone should be able to date who they want to date.”

And Leo introduced her to both of his parents long ago.”

To show how close the couple were, all through the Covid_19 pandemic they spent it together. Even, the most recent was July 4th of this year, the two celebrated it together.

When it comes to the age gap between Leonardo and Camila, Camila could care less about it, she accepts Leonard with her full heart, 22 years difference and all, in the year 2019, she spoke of haters and said, “My God, people are so mean and full of anger with people that they know nothing about,” said Camila amid encouraging critics to “learn to live with a little less hatred and place their time and interests elsewhere, because living without hatred feels pretty good.”
