One Life to Live Star Eddie Alderson Shares New Health Update

Eddie Alderson wants to prove to his fans that he’s a fighter and that he’s not giving up on his cancer battle anytime soon. In fact, the former ‘One Life to Live’ star has just shared a new health update with his fans. He’s once again going through another round of chemotherapy in his journey to beat cancer. The actor was diagnosed with lymphoma last November.

Eddie, who used to star as Matthew Buchanan on ‘One Life to Live’ shared a new behind-the-scenes photo on his Instagram account for his fans. He captioned his pic with, “My journey continues on~ I started stronger chemo a few weeks back, but nothing is getting me down. Chemo may take my hair but it will never take my spirits or positive state of mind. Feeling great, actually shot an 86 today on the golf course today, not too bad. One thing is for certain, there is #NoSurrender in me. Never.”

Back in April, Eddie announced that he had completed his chemotherapy treatment for his lymphoma, but unfortunately he now has another round to complete. Fortunately, he is doing it with all the love and support he’s gotten from his friends, family members and of course, fans.

Many of his fans shared their support for Eddie by writing comments that included, “You are a warrior Eddie, you will win this, I also have Lymphoma, you give me strength for whatever is coming my way god bless you!!” along with, “Prayers are still being sent your way @eddiealderson fight like the Philly man you are.”
