Coronation Street spoilers reveal that in Weatherfield we just got rid of one abuser, Geoff Metcalfe (Ian Bartholomew). However, it seems that Corey Brent (Maximum Evans) is going to show just how bad he can get. He basically refers to Asha Alahan (Tanisha Gorey) as a dog and makes an outrageous demand. Afraid he will make good on his threat, Asha does exactly what he says.

Corrie spoilers reveal that Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher) gives Asha a gift. It is a unique choker, which Asha puts on immediately to wear. However, not everyone is a fan of the choker, or more likely the fact that Asha has a friend. Corey throws a temper tantrum and demands that Asha take off the necklace.

According to Metro, Corey (Maximum Evans) verbally abuses Asha (Tanisha Gorey)  and tells her that the choker would look better on a dog. He once again orders her to take it off and Asha does what he says. However, she later puts in back on when Corey isn’t around. Except when she runs into him, he immediately notices that she’s wearing the piece of jewelry and intensifies his control over the troubled teenager.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Making Demands And Threats

Coronation Street spoilers reveal that Corey tells Asha that she gets rid of Nina’s gift or he will end their relationship. Now, we have seen Corey be pushy, demanding and disrespectful before. However, he seems to be taking it to a whole new level. His verbal abuse and demands won’t be kept private though. He actually does this out in public and someone overhears what he is telling her.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Yasmeen Metcalfe’s Horror

Yasmeen Metcalfe (Shelley King) ends up overhearing how Corey is talking to Asha, including his demands and threats. Now, Asha is already a troubled young lady and has gone through a lot. So she is already primed for abuse and control, something that Corey is well aware of. With Yasmeen just getting out of the same type of relationship and barely escaping with her life and freedom, she steps in.

However, will Asha listen to Yasmeen’s advice? Or will she have to learn the hard way that Corey doesn’t love or care about her? Will she have to figure it out on her own that Corey will only get worse? That we aren’t sure of yet. However, Asha has always had a crush on Corey. He humiliated her when they were “set up” and he didn’t stand up for her during the striptease incident. However, she keeps going back with him and defending him to her father, Dev Alahan (Jimmi Harkishin). Unfortunately, it seems like Asha might have to learn a painful lesson.
