‘Bachelorette’ Charity Lawson & Dotun Are Still Popular?

When Charity Lawson became The Bachelorette, many people fell in love with her and her fiance, Dotun Olubeko. However, she went on Dancing With the Stars, and for some reason, she picked up a lot of criticism from ABC fans.

Charity spent a lot of time being very positive about her contestants on The Bachelorette. As a therapist, she seemed to be a very mindful sort of person. After she chose Dotun Olubeko, she knew the pressure would pile on her during Dancing With the Stars. But, she intentionally made a lot of time for him. 

According to People, Charity Lawson kept quiet about the perceived racial hatred that she picked up on Dancing With the Stars. But once it was over, The Bachelorette alum revealed that she received “death threats.” In fact, she seemed to go “through Hell and back” dealing with the ugliness. But, are there still people who love her and Dotun Olubeko?

This week, on Instagram, a series of photos arrived that revealed the couple out and about. One of the best was the first one that showed Dotun Olubeko with his fiance looking cozy with the ocean behind them.

Well, it wasn’t a huge statement, but certainly, it seemed that in the comments section, Bachelorette fans love her and Dotun just as much as ever. Clearly, the hate from Dancing With the Stars didn’t rub off on her loyal fan base.
