Dancing With The Stars Alum Lands A Role In Hallmark’s ‘Love, Classified’

Dancing With The Stars” alum Melora Hardin has landed a huge role in the upcoming Hallmark Greenlights Movie “Love, Classified” set to premiere on the Hallmark Channel in April this year.
Hardin, who placed sixth with partner Artem Chigvintsev on the 30th season of ABC’s “Dancing With The Stars” will play the main lead, a romance novelist named Emilia in Hallmark’s new rom-com film. She is joined with “In The Vault” star Arienne Mandi, “Shadowhunters” actress Katherine McNamara, and “When Calls The Heart” cast Max Lloyd-Jones.
According to Deadline, Hardin’s character Emilia has been long separated from her children Taylor (McNamara), and Zach (Lloyd-Jones). She’s a “whirlwind who blows back into the lives of her children” and uses her profession to reconnect with her kids by setting up a local bookstore signing to see them again.
Dancing With The Stars Spoilers – A New Dating App
As she attempts to reconnect with them, she learns that her children are trying a new dating app that promises the old-fashion way of connecting with potential partners through a classified ad.
Both Taylor and Zach get to benefit from the app as the former finds the chance to heal from past wounds, and the latter gets to change her view about love when she matches with a woman.
Lisa Hamilton Daily, EVP Programming Crown Media Family Networks teased that the film is a “fun story” from writer Lynn Sternberger that talks about “love, family, and commitment in all its forms.”
Actress Hardin also confirmed the news on her Instagram account by sharing Deadline’s article and captioned it with: “So excited for this!”

Hardin joined “Dancing With The Stars” last year and made it to the semifinals until she was eliminated with Suni Lee in the shocking double elimination round.
After her elimination from the show, the actress talked with Haute Living to open up about her experience in representing women of a certain age on the dancefloor.

When asked about her stiffest competition, the celebrity honestly answered it was herself. “Definitely myself! I had to get out of my own way a lot and learn to just do it for the joy of dancing and not be so hard on myself and that was definitely a wonderful part of this process,” she revealed.
She talked about her many favorite moments particularly her many small victories along the way and especially her fantastic Paso Doble entry.
“I was feeling so free in the dance that night. It felt like I had arrived at a place that was not full of nerves and self-imposed expectations,” she added.
Hardin is best known for her portrayal of Jan Levinson in the NBC series “The Office” and got nominated on Emmy for her role as Tammy Cashman on Amazon’s Golden Globe-winning comedy “Transparent.”
