Dancing With The Stars pro Cheryl Burke has announced her shocking decision to exit Dancing With The Stars after 26 seasons on the series. Burke plans to make one more appearance on show this coming Monday before she says goodbye.

Producers Refuse Cheryl Burke’s Demands

According to the Sun, Burke has made the decision to exit Dancing With The Stars after she asked to be a judge. Burke’s desire to change her role on the show comes after Len Goodman announced he would be leaving. Per an insider, Burke demanded she be promoted or she would be leaving.

“Cheryl has been dropping hints all season that this may be her final season on the show and she has made it abundantly clear now she wants to take Len’s spot and deserves that chance,” an insider shared.

Adding, ”In fairness, she and others feel it should be a natural progression for someone like her to be handed a promotion.”

Producers however, did not want to make Burke a judge. The 38-year-old has since decided to leave as promised.

Burke officially announced her exit on Instagram. “I am sitting here full of so many conflicting emotions about the words I am about to write…

Burke went on to add, ”Tomorrow night will officially be my final dance as a pro dancer on @dancingwiththestars. This has been one of the absolute hardest decisions of my life and I am also confident that it is the right one.”

Burke shared her farewell with a photo of her donning a black dress and a smile alongside her partner on a rd glowing dance floor.

Cheryl’s Planned Final Appearance On Dancing With The Stars

For Cheryl Burke’s final appearance on Dancing With The Stars, the professional dancer will take to the stage to perform live one last time. Burke’s final appearance on Monday night’s show will also mark the end of season 31 for the series that has moved to Disney+.
