Amid her split from estranged hubby Dean McDermott, Tori struggles with “money issues,” shared an insider. And her financial woes, which at one point supposedly included living in an RV with her five kids, have “mortified” Dean. However, McDermott also thinks she moved into the RV to get “sympathy.” 

Tori starred on reality TV during the early 2000s. And she hopes returning to that world can boost her income. “Tori is caught between a rock and a hard place right now as she is trying to figure out what her next job is going to be,” shared the source. “Because she is having some money issues, she is looking into doing some more in the reality competition show world.”

Tori Spelling Dreams Of Dancing With The Stars

The Beverly Hills, 90210 star has dreamed of competing on Dancing With the Stars, according to the insider. And so producers reportedly got “into talks” with Tori about the possibility. As a result, the source thinks that 2023 could turn into Spelling’s year to shine in the reality dance competition. “So many 90210 stars have done it,” added the insider about Dancing With The Stars. “So she would have so much support from her former cast members.”

But Tori and her estranged husband, Dean, also appeared in several different reality TV shows. For instance, the then-couple starred in Tori & Dean: Inn Love, Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood, Tori & Dean: sTORIbook Weddings, and Tori & Dean: Cabin Fever from 2007 to 2014. Those shows featured Spelling and McDermott in the first part of their marriage.

However, the source cautioned that Tori faces a challenge in appearing on television. Because though she feels “desperate for a more consistent flow of money to come in, she still wants to be a mom first. Scheduling is very important to her.
