Dancing With The Stars Spoilers – Derek Hough Scores Dancing With The Stars Emmy Nod

Dancing With The Stars judge Derek Hough just set a record with his 13th choreography nomination. Hough earned the nod for his spectacular routine to Michael Bublé‘s “Higher” on Dancing with the Stars. As a result, Derek overcame Debbie Allen to become the most nominated choreographer in Emmy history, according to Yahoo.

And the DWTS judge recalled his life “flashing before my eyes” of all the “thousands and thousands of hours” he invested in dance. But Derek revealed that at first, he didn’t consider choreographing as a career path. “I don’t know what it’s like now,” he admitted. “But when I was choreographing, there was no classes. So there’s a lot of trial and error of figuring out as you go along.”

However, after learning how to heed his instincts and trust the “process,” Hough tapped into his innate skills. “And I’m so, so thankful and I’m so grateful for the opportunity to be able to create. There are so many great choreographers, there are so many great creatives who just incredible, and I’m just very fortunate that I’ve had this platform to create pieces,” he added about Dancing With The Stars.

A new video linked to the Twilight film franchise has become available. And it stars Dancing With The Stars judge Derek Hough and his fiancee Hayley Erbert. The music video features Derek and Hayley performing for the Sleeping At Last song “Turning Page.” Fans of Twilight may recall the tune from “Breaking Dawn – Part 1.” That movie marked the fourth of five that used the Twilight book series, noted Heavy.

And fans adored the Twilight movie plot and characters such as Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) walking down the aisle to tie the knot with Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson). However, a music video remained only a topic of conversation. But then songwriter Ryan O’Neal pursued the possibility. And he contacted Derek to invite him to direct the video.

Fans agreed with O’Neal that the results are impressive. And O’Neal shared that he maintained confidence that Hough could create a gorgeous video. But since viewing it, the songwriter called it “exactly what I’d hope for and a million times more.”
