Days of Our Lives Alum Shawn Christian In Exciting New Film

Shawn Christian, known for his role as Daniel Jonas on Days of Our Lives, has landed a new exciting gig in a thriller movie that’s written and directed by Dallas King.

In his Instagram post where he shared a video of him shooting a scene, he wrote, “I’ve been MIA on set filming ‘UZLA’ in the halls of UCLA….w/ talented director @dallasking1. BIG THX to @vjmichelle and the entire hard-working team at Red Rabbit Productions #UZLA #behindthescenes #makingmovies #actorslife.”

Shawn’s Exciting New Gig Details

Christian will portray Professor Suber in the film, which focuses on the story of five random co-eds at LA’s biggest college who have survived a virus outbreak. They all work together as they try to find someplace safe while trying to run from the infected people who are out to get them. He will be working with Michelle Hayden, Jono Cota, Michelle Ng, David Wilson Page, and Julian Flamer.

Apart from “U.Z.L.A,” Christian is also set to appear in the movie entitled “Love In The Sun,” which is set to premiere on May 25. Christian worked with Emeraude Toubia as Alana, and Tom Maden as Kai. Christian is also executive producing another horror film entitled “Boo,” and all those who are interested can check out his fundraising campaign at Seed and Spark.

Christian Was Last Seen On DOOL In 2017

Christian debuted his character, Daniel James Jonas, on the NBC soap Days of Our Lives in March 2008. He initially signed a one-year contract but then his stay was extended. Christian left the sudser in January 2016, when his character was killed off in a car accident. His death ended his rocky relationship with Nicole Walker (Arianne Rucker). Even though he was already let go, he still made several appearances in 2016 and 2017.

Days of Our Lives was not Christian’s first soap opera. He played the character Mike Kasnoff in the now-defunct sudser “As The World Turns” for three years. He also performed for “Improv Olympic” and was also cast in popular series like “Charmed,” “Pacific Palisades,” and “Beverly Hills, 90210.”

In 1996, he was nominated for “Hottest Male Star” by Soap Opera Digest magazine. Off-screen, Christian loves to go hiking, mountain biking, play basketball, and water sports. He also likes photography and painting.
