Days Of Our Lives Comings and Goings: Cameron Johnson Cast As The New Theo Carver

NBC Days of our Lives spoilers reveal the sizzling Salem hot news that Cameron Johnson has been hired to play the role of Theo Carver. Johnson’s credits include 9-1-1, Criminal Minds, Light As A Feather, and The Mick.

The role of Theo was previously played by Kyler Pettis and viewers will see the recast later this fall. Theo has been in South Africa to rehab but it’s time for Abe Carver’s (James Reynolds) son to come home.

Days Of Our Lives spoilers – Cameron Johnson Is Bringing Theo Carver Back To Salem

In addition to his TV work, Johnson has appeared in the film The Wrong Crush and he will next appear in Yes, Day, a project that also stars Jennifer Garner.

Fans last saw Theo two years ago when he decided to relocate to South Africa for specialized medical treatment. He had been shot by an overzealous J.J. Deveraux (Casey Moss) and Salem could not meet his treatment needs. The cop was chasing a man in the dark when he accidentally shot Theo not knowing who he was.

The storyline was poignant and dramatic and Reynolds was honored with the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series Emmy for his anguished portrayal as ailing Theo’s dad. Pettis also won a Daytime Emmy award in 2019, and before he came on board there was a host of actors who played the part.

Dool Spoilers – A New Actor Has Been Cast In The Role Of Theo Carver

Theo was 5-years old when his parents first noticed that he experienced development issues and he was later diagnosed to be on the autism spectrum.

Before Pettis departed the show Theo was involved romantically with both Claire Brady (then Olivia Rose Keegan, now Isabel Durant) and Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal).

There is no word yet on why Theo is coming back home to Salem. Hopefully, his treatment has worked and he is returning for no other reason than to be reunited with his family.

But this is a soap after all, so Theo is sure to come back with drama and maybe a secret or two. Claire is still in town and their old roomie Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) has just returned to Salem. Will the old gang get back together? Sadly, Ciara Brady is “dead,” so there will not be a happy reunion among the friends.
